Description
The Lectionary for Mass Supplement includes updated citations, corrections, and new saints and blessed that were confirmed by the Holy See since the revisions made to the four-volume Lectionary for Mass between 1998 and 2002. This new Supplement approved by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments includes readings for:
- Order of Celebrating Matrimony
- Masses for Various Needs and Occasions: “For Giving Thanks to God for the Gift of Human Life”
- Votive Masses for “The Mercy of God,” “Our Lady, Queen of Apostles,” and “Saint John the Baptist”
- Proper of Saints
The Supplement also includes amended Lectionary citations and texts.
